Primary years programme

The Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) promotes the development of academic, personal, social, and emotional skills in students by fostering critical thinking, inquiry, and intercultural understanding. It includes subjects such as Language, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, Art, and Physical Education, integrating global themes. The PYP aims to develop informed, well-rounded, and socially conscious students.

In Elementary students explore six transdisciplinary themes that integrate various areas of knowledge. The PYP encourages action and reflection, preparing students to be engaged global citizens.

The Exhibition in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate is a key component conducted in 5th grade, the final year of the program. It is a research and action project where students choose a topic of interest, explore questions, apply learned skills, and present their findings creatively. The Exhibition promotes deep inquiry, critical thinking, and community engagement, allowing students to demonstrate their comprehensive understanding and skills acquired during their primary education within the framework of the PYP.
